Merry Christmas to all! I'm almost late for my Christmas greeting, but after two days of hard work, here is the Special Christmas Canids

Two little angels

Edmund has discovered that Rick know where Dave and Bobby are, and he didn't need to insist too much to make Rick talk. Finally they both go to the empty swimming pool to rescue Dave and Bobby.

I suspect you know something...

After to finished trapped into an empty swimming pool, Dave and Bobby are missing, and Edmund arrives very worried to ask Rick if he knows something.

I know, I know, it's november 2nd... but believe me, a work in the uni turns complicated and got many of my time to can finish this strip at time.

Anyway has been fantastic to work in that and see how works a canids strip in full page and colour. The format will continue being horizontal strips, like in the newspapers strips, but for special strips, like other author do, this format and colour works really well.

In the colour I preffered to use a plain and humid tone, typical of watercolours, without many details or without filling all the whites. I think that gives at the comic a fresh, nice appearance.

Dave follows trying to rescue Bobby, but all become more complicated due to a little calculus mistake...

Give me a hand

Poor Bobby is trapped in a empty swimming pool, and doesn't know how can go out. Luckily, his friend dave is dispossed to give him a hand, or in this case, a rope.

Giants are there?

After to fall into an empty swimming pool, Dave go to see if Bobby is ok... and he find him thinking about certains doubts that he has got.

Hi everybody!

Canids return after a long time! Why this delay? You'd probably ask. Well, the fact it's that lately I've been quite busy, because thanks to an Erasmus scholardship, I've moved to England (the country of "Canids"!), and the fact of to prepare all for my travel and new life here has had me quite busy. But here return, for all you, more adventures of those 4 nice doggies.

In our strip for today, we can see a thing that happened last summer. Bobby arrived wanting to play, but Rick wanted to follow with his book...

A perfect day?

It seems that Rick has found the peace that he wanted. Without Bobby's constants games and Dave's jokes, he can read happy and in peace... or not?

Time pass so quickly...

Hi again! Like I promised all you, and after a hard end of course, I can dedicate more time to my canids strips again.

Here is the next strip... Bobby loves Rick like an older brother, but... when did it start? Let's see their first meeting.

Hi Buddies!

Two months ago the fat (Rick), Edmund, Bobby, myself and company appeared in this blog for last time.

I wanna say you all that this is not a goodbye or something, and we've many and long adventures and pranks to live together.

It happens that the author, Adriano Berjillos, is very busy with the university. You know, human things... But he promises that in June will arrive our adventures.

For that reason, don't leave us and continue following us, please, please, pleaseee, yeah? Come on, in a few, much more strips.

Rick discovered when he got up that all the invited to the party in his home cleaned up all before to go, but... Dave has to be noticeable in one way or another...

Today, celebrating my birthday, some friends give me this present:

Obviously, is not a real Bobby plush doll, but he's so similar, that they decided to label it (a great work of my friend Ester) creating the ilusion of a possible merchandising of Canids. Maybe someday...

... and like in all parties, always arrives the fearsome next morning... but Rick has got good friends... haven't he?

Ok, the party is going too much far, Rick has lost the sense of ridiculous and Dave... is as mischievous as always. How can all this finish?

Bobby doesn't drink...

Dave always gets all he wants. He got Rick "happy" and saved the party. In the other hand, Bobby can't drink alcohol because is too much young, so he only drinks sodas... sodas aren't bad for him... or yes?

Save the party!

The improvised party in Rick's house follow, but Rick is so grumpy that Dave think that the fun is in danger there... so he decides to act...

Did you miss me?

The party is ready! Dave did a party in Rick's house, without the approval of the host, and all point that Dave invited at all the dogs in the village... or not? Time to meet the annoying but lovely Bobby.

Weekend alone

This is the first strip of Canids. It's dedicated at all those friends who help me with this project, and also, to Clayton, for help me with the English translation. I hope you all enjoy the strips!

Rick loves the calm, but that's hard to get with friends like Dave... How will finish his alone weekend?

Characters

In a little English village, four dogs of different breeds live together like they can, in spite of their different personalities. Here there are the four main characters, whose adventures and experiences will be showed in "Canids":

Rick: Rick is a grumpy and bad-tempered golden retriever who loves a quiet life without surprises. For his disgrace, that kind of life is impossible due to Dave's constant jokes and Bobby's hyperactivity who, for good or bad, loves Rick like if he was his older brother.

Bobby: This old English sheepdog is a huge and unquiet mountain of white and black hair, with the soul of a little pup, dispossed to play with all those incautious who come near to him. Hyperactive and not very brilliant, his innocence makes him an easy victim of all those who, with a bit of inteligence, want to lost his drooling company.

Dave: Don't allow that the cute looking of this Dachshund deceive you! Dave is a little devil who is always thinking in any prank to annoy Rick or to make a party in where can show his outgoing personality.

Edmund: The oldest in the group, Edmund is a cultived, refined and intelligent Basset Hound, and the only one who can put a bit of common sense in this group of so differents friends.
